V-Card: Jason R. Hawrylak
Mr. Hawrylak has handled a vast array of litigation matters, including, but not limited to, family law, divorce, support, personal injury, collection, estate, criminal defense at the Superior and Municipal Court level, wrongful termination and breach of contract matters. He also serves as the firm’s real estate attorney, assisting clients with purchases and sales.
Mr. Hawrylak has served as the Township of Piscataway Public Defender since 2010 and was the Borough of South River Public Defender. In addition, for six (6) years Mr. Hawrylak was a appointed by the Governor as Commissioner on the Middlesex County Board of Elections. He now is able to take that experience to help candidates, campaigns and voters navigate the intricate and often confusing field of New Jersey’s election laws. Leading our Election Law practice group, Jason can assist clients with issues such as ballot access, election litigation, petition challenges and post-election challenges and campaign finance law compliance.
After graduating cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law, Mr. Hawrylak clerked for the Hon. James S. Rothschild, J.S.C., in Essex County, where he focused on family law. After his clerkship, he joined Wisniewski & Associates, LLC®.
