V-Card: Karilyn M. Ward

A seasoned litigation attorney licensed in New Jersey and New York, Karilyn brings nearly a decade of experience handling complex legal matters across various practice areas. Admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, she has built a strong foundation in litigation, motion practice, trial preparation, discovery, and advocacy.

Karilyn previously served as an Associate at a boutique firm, where she managed all aspects of litigation from inception through resolution or determination on the merits. She has a strong track record of success in drafting persuasive legal briefs and has prevailed on numerous motions for summary judgment and motions for reconsideration. Additionally, she has significant experience taking and defending depositions, effectively examining witnesses to strengthen her clients’ positions. Her comprehensive understanding of legal procedures, client advocacy, and case management has made her a formidable litigator.

Beyond her legal career, Karilyn has a diverse background in teaching, performing arts, and community service. She spent nearly a decade as a dance instructor and choreographer, mentoring young performers and producing nationally recognized routines.

A Merit Scholarship recipient, Karilyn earned her J.D. from Liberty University. She combines legal expertise with a passion for service, whether in the courtroom, the classroom, or the community.
