V-Card: Douglas R. D’Antonio

Veteran civil litigator Douglas R. D’Antonio heads the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, representing businesses, individuals and governmental agencies.

His broad mix of litigation experience includes personal injury, premises liability and property damage, contract disputes, property disputes, land use and health care matters. Doug is an accomplished and persuasive civil litigator with over thirty years of legal expertise engaging in the full panoply of civil litigation practice including drafting pleadings, legal research, motion practice, court appearances, negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, discovery, depositions, oral arguments, trials, including several brought to verdict, and appeals. He has a proven track record achieving case dismissals, advantageous settlements, and favorable verdicts. Doug has tried cases in all 21 of NJ’s counties and is highly experienced in Alternative Dispute Resolution as well as oral argument. He has litigated complex insurance fraud claims and was a member of the litigation team that successfully obtained a multi-million-dollar judgment against ten defendants found liable for violating the New Jersey Insurance Fraud Prevention Act. He also has represented the interests of insurance carriers and their insureds in a range of matters, including personal injury, premises liability, insurance coverage issues and first-party PIP and UM/UIM claims. Doug is also experienced in handling products liability cases
